In addition to assisting Dr. Khan with minor surgical procedures, Ellen obtains patients’ vital signs, coordinates and pre-certifies diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds, CT scans and MRI scans, and handles emergency appointments. Ellen also calls patients at home after their surgery.

Dawn obtains referrals for office visits, collects copayments, checks patients in, obtains surgery authorizations from insurance companies and serves as medical assistant as needed. Her administrative duties include submitting all medical claims and coordinating physician meetings.
Sherrielynn Cook-Helvitz
Clinical Coordinator
Sherrielynn answers the office phones, schedules appointments, obtains referrals and authorizations for surgery and collects copayments. She also books surgical cases for both Dr. Khan and Dr. Ragulin-Coyne.
